- Every Wednesday — City Public Works. Watertight rodent-proof container with tight lid, wheels, lift bar. Out after 7 pm night before; no later than 7 am collection day. Missed Wed (breakdown/snow/holiday) → next business day. PW rules PDF linked. City Hall 301-985-6585.

- Every Friday. City 64-gal cart; additional at 50% cost. Same set-out window as trash. No plastic/paper bags in recycle. Plastic bags not accepted.
- Bulk pickup
- By appointment 1st & 3rd Mondays. Out ≤48 hrs before. Appointments through Fri noon before pickup week. 6 free pickups/year ≤3 cu yd each. Appliances $25; tires $6 with rim / $5 without. Special bulk >3 cu yd min $50. Call 301-985-6558 / forms online. No TVs in bulk.
