Full details for Plymouth: every rule, with sources
- Trash
- No municipal curbside trash since July 1, 2018. Residents choose: (1) contract a Private Trash & Recycling Company licensed by Plymouth Public Health (curbside for a fee; service begins only after contract), or (2) Pay-As-You-Throw at Manomet Transfer Station (350 Beaver Dam Rd) with vehicle permit + official pay-as-you-throw bags from listed retailers. Town is a pay-as-you-throw community to reduce landfill disposal.
- Recycling
- Same two options as trash — private hauler curbside (must offer recycling with trash per licensed hauler list) or drop-off recycling at Manomet TS with permit. Difficult/Hard to Manage Waste facility (354 Beaver Dam Rd, Republic) separate — pay by weight; mattresses/box springs by weight plus $75 each.
