All household trash in official Harvard trash bags (purchase locations on Permits & Fees page). Transfer Station sticker required on every vehicle; residency not required to buy sticker (FY2027 stickers online/mail/drop box). Hours: Wed 7:30–11:30 a.m., Sat 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Recycling: Mandatory recycling at TS (Accepted Items PDF Apr 2026): mixed paper, cardboard, glass, metals, plastics #1–#7, many fee items (TV/monitor $30, mattress $25, fridge $20, etc.). No yard waste except seasonal Christmas trees (What Goes Where). No household hazardous waste at TS — use devenshhw.com.
