Full details for Dune Acres: every rule, with sources
- Trash
- Porter County Recycling: residents of Dune Acres (and unincorporated Porter County) must individually contract private waste haulers — town excluded from municipal curbside programs serving other Porter County cities/towns. County-listed haulers: Indiana Waste Service (219) 613-1300; Republic Services (219) 662-8600; Homewood Disposal (708) 798-1004; Waste Management of NWI 1-800-443-5646; Total Disposal (219) 944-1800. Exact pickup day = your contracted hauler. (Town RFP/franchise negotiations noted in early 2026 minutes — not a published live franchise schedule.)
