- City page: DeKalb County provides sanitation to Pine Lake (effective Dec 1, 2018 notice still posted). DeKalb Solid Waste Management: weekly county-issued 95-gallon green garbage cart; garbage bagged in cart; no loose garbage/liquids; no excess bags outside cart. Same assigned day as recycling & yard trimmings. Annual assessment (begins $362.30/yr per DeKalb residential page; prorated for new starts). Carts after 7:00 p.m. night before; at curb by 7:00 a.m.; remove within 24 hours.

- Optional but included in assessment. Free 35-gal blue cart (or 65-gal for $28.80 one-time). Single-stream same day as garbage. Accepts: mixed paper, cardboard (≤10 flattened boxes), plastic #1–2 bottles/containers, metal/aluminum cans.
