Accepts (guide): aluminum/steel cans & baking tins; cardboard/pizza boxes; drink cartons; packaging boxes; junk mail; kraft/mixed/other paper; catalogs; newspapers; plastics #1–7 bottles/containers; magazines. No glass (put glass in trash). Not accepted: household hazardous waste, biomedical, paint buckets, chemicals, hoses, metal furniture, wood, plastic grocery bags, non-empty aerosols, construction debris, tires, batteries, cables, yard waste, Styrofoam, compressed gas, ammo, electronics, food, liquids, auto parts. Extra recycle cart $16/mo; no extra bags outside cart.

Won't collect: capacitors, light ballast, asbestos, metal drums, fuel tanks, medical waste, paint cans, glass, sinks, fences, propane, household garbage, food waste, tree stumps, closed containers, refrigerators, AC units, tires, hazardous, carpets, pallets, antifreeze/Freon, padding, flooring, insulation, etc. Year-round Public Works still collects washers, dryers, hot water heaters, and metals for city taxpayers. Leaf & limb collection separate (neat stacks parallel to street; leaves/limbs separated; taxpayers).
