Two streams: (1) metals + plastics co-mingled — aluminum drink cans; steel/tin food cans (rinsed; discard lids; no paint/oil cans, foil pans); household plastic bottles/containers (soda, milk, soap); rinsed oil/transmission/antifreeze/washer bottles — no bubble wrap, plastic bags, Styrofoam, other plastics. (2) mixed paper + cardboard — junk mail, envelopes, newspapers, office/school/computer paper, phone books, magazines, cereal boxes (no food wrappers); corrugated flattened/cut ≤3×3 ft; milk/juice/broth cartons. No glass in recycling (put glass in trash). Separate metals/plastics from paper; glass contamination may send bin to trash. Out by 7:00 a.m. collection day. No clothing, shoes, electronics, bulbs, batteries, household hazardous waste in recycle.
