- City Solid Waste contracts WM for collection. Garbage Mon & Thu citywide. Resident-provided cans: up to five cans ≤32 gal each (utility guide also: cans/bags ≤50 lb). Place by 7:00 a.m.; out no earlier than 12 hours before; remove within 12 hours after; store out of public view with tight lids. Bagged trash OK in cans/bags per utility guide. Construction debris & furniture not for regular collection — call Solid Waste 727-943-4837 / [email protected] to schedule (utility guide also notes WM special pickup 727-572-8779 for furniture/mattresses — fee by WM). Household hazardous waste (batteries, fluorescent bulbs, paint, motor oil/filters, meds) not in trash. Office: 325 E Pine St; hours 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

- Thursdays citywide. Resident-provided ≤32-gal container labeled “Recycling” or with recycle symbol (free bins from Solid Waste office/delivery). Unlimited recyclables on schedule day; recyclables in bins — not in paper/plastic bags inside bins. Drop-offs: 1023 Gulf Road; 898 South Levis Avenue.
