- City Solid Waste — residential once weekly (address → day via Collection Schedule Finder). City barrel: place garbage (not yard waste) in container, lid closed, nothing hanging sides. Out no earlier than 7:00 p.m. night before; by 7:00 a.m. collection day; remove by 7:00 a.m. day after. Within 2 ft of curb, handle away from curb; ≥3 ft from recycling bin/mailboxes/cars/trees/wires. Drain liquids; bag debris (raw garbage, paper plates/towels, lightweight/Styrofoam/shredded paper). Not in trash: hot ashes, yard waste, concrete, dirt/sod/sand, plaster/board, carpet/tile, lumber/bricks/roofing, construction debris, tires, auto batteries, pool/flammable chemicals, liquid paint.

- Weekly blue city recycling cart (city property). “Simplify to 5”: (1) plastic bottles/jugs #1–7 (no Styrofoam/bags/wraps); (2) glass bottles/jars; (3) aluminum/steel cans + empty aerosols; (4) mixed paper if you can rip it (no tissues/towels/napkins); (5) flattened cardboard & cartons.
