- Village contracts Great Waste and Recycling Service (GWRS). Teal cart for garbage/kitchen waste — all waste must fit, lid closed. Edge of pavement by 6:30 a.m. collection day. Carts not earlier than 5:00 p.m. day before; out of sight by 9:00 a.m. day after (violation otherwise). Days: west of NE 9th Ave — Mon & Thu; east — Tue & Fri. Yard debris may go in trash bin. - Dark green cart, single-stream, all residents Fridays. Accepts: plastic bottles/containers, food/beverage cans, flattened cardboard, newspapers. Not: food waste, foam, loose plastic, clothing, batteries, yard waste.
