- Town contracts Summit Waste. Residential trash weekly Thursdays 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Town-owned carts (default 96-gal; smaller sizes on request); personal carts aren't emptied. Overflow: Summit-branded blue bags beside cart (free bags from Town Hall / [email protected]). Alley pickup if alley access; else curb. Trash bagged in secured bags inside cart. Billed quarterly by Town to property owners.

- Every other Thursday same window (see town Trash & Recycling Day calendar / 2026 Trash and Recycling Calendar PDF). Don't bag recycling. Town page links “What can be recycled and how”; hauler Summit Waste flyer (summitwasteco.com): paper/cardboard, aluminum & tin cans, empty aerosols, glass bottles/jars, plastics #1–7 bottles/containers per flyer — no bags, greasy cardboard, #7 PLA, electronics, etc. Follow the town-linked guide if it differs from the hauler flyer.
