Gray landfill cart weekly; sizes 45 / 64 / 96 gal; routes start as early as 5:00 a.m. (Residential page also notes 5:30 a.m. — have carts out night before or by early morning). Day via Collection Calendar / Solid Waste app. Lid must close; max 200 lb/cart. Organic/food waste not in gray (SB 1383 → green). Extra gray cart = added monthly fee (call for rate). Disabled/handicap cart exemption via Customer Service 530-224-6201.
- Recycling
- Blue mixed-recycling cart included (64 or 96 gal). Accept per guide: clean #1/#2 plastics (bottles/containers listed on city guide), paper, cardboard, metal cans, glass bottles/jars — loose in cart. Not in blue: bags/film, Styrofoam (EPS drop-off at Transfer Station only), coated cartons, scrap metal, e-waste, clothing, green waste, etc. Contamination: driver may leave “Oops!” tag; third contaminated empty → pay to dump as trash or 90-day cart removal option.
