Once a month — no call needed. Starts with the Wednesday in the first full week of each month: Mon trash → 1st Wednesday; Tue → 1st Thursday; Wed → 2nd Thursday; Thu → 3rd Thursday; Fri → 4th Thursday. Up to 4 cubic yards bulky waste; unlimited properly bundled brush (≤4×2 ft, ≤50 lb; no loose brush). Front curb by 7 a.m. Acceptable: tagged toys/yard tools, furniture, carpet in 4-ft lengths, fence panels ≤4′×6′, drained washers/dryers/water heaters/kitchen appliances, Freon units with certification tag. Annual X-treme Green Event for HHW/electronics/tires/shredding.

When
Trash/recycling out by 7 a.m. (service 7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Bulk/brush at the front curb by 7 a.m. on the designated monthly bulk day.
Where
Wheels toward the residence; ≥3 ft between trash and recycle carts; ≥3 ft from mailboxes, fences, gas meters, drainage ditches; 16 ft overhead; don’t block with vehicles (ASL). Bulk and bundled brush at the front curb.
Limits
Bulk ≤4 cubic yards per monthly pickup (~1 washing machine = 1 cu yd); unlimited properly bundled brush; overloaded carts not serviced; special pickup quotes from CWD; extra carts via Utility Billing 972-736-2711.
Brush
All brush tied/bundled ≤4 ft × 2 ft and ≤50 lb; no loose brush. Fence panels ≤4×6 ft; carpet in 4-ft lengths.
Not allowed
Bulk prohibited: single items >150 lb, commercial remodeling/construction debris, HHW, tires, batteries, propane tanks, loose household debris (must be in a disposable container ≤2×2×4 ft ≤50 lb). Freon appliances need certification tag. Annual X-treme Green for many banned-curbside items.
Bags
Bag trash inside the gray cart; recyclables loose in the blue cart; lids closed.
Fees and fines
No set-out citation dollar amounts on city/CWD Princeton pages. Missed trash/recycling/bulk: contact CWD within 24 hours (972-392-9300 option 2). Cart repair: CWD. Extra carts: Utility Billing 972-736-2711.
